This returning ISA Ontario Chapter “IPM FOR WOODY PLANTS” field course is… designed to give you an opportunity to develop hands-on diagnostic skills and utilize valuable resources as a first step in IPM. This workshop combines field study and sample collection, lecture and hands-on diagnostics to help you identify plant problems more effectively. The Guelph Arboretum will also showcase their work with the Elm Recovery project. CEU’s are available.
Keynote lecturers include Jennifer Llewellyn, Nursery Crop Specialist with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Rural Affairs, Dr. Shannon Shan, Supervisor and Plant Diagnostic Pathologist, University of Guelph’s Pest Diagnostic Clinic and Sean Fox, Assistant Manager and Head Horticulturalist with the University of Guelph Arboretum.
This workshop is offered in partnership with the University of Guelph, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Ministry of Rural Affairs and ISA Ontario Chapter.
