This is a unique opportunity. An ALL-INCLUSIVE, TWO-day IMMERSION style field course led by local experts in Entomology and IPM. This field course is designed for professionals working with woody plants in arboriculture and horticulture. Filled with interactive activities designed to sharpen your scouting and identification skills, this field course will set the foundation for you to build your detection and ID skills for several types of insects found on and around trees and shrubs.
The workshop will take place in the tranquil, natural learning environment of the Queens University Biological Research Station (just north of Kingston).
Motivated by their contagious passion for learning, Marvin Gunderman, Jen Llewellyn and Dave Cheung will lead the workshop in an inspiring, engaging, team-building style filled with practical learning opportunities and humour. CEU’s will be available.
